Water Aerobics/Workouts

The WSSC is pleased to be one of the few pools in the area that offers an extensive variety of water aerobics classes. We have the latest water aerobics equipment, from water weights, hand gloves for resistance, noodles, lap boards, and water belts for deep water exercise.

Throughout the course of a year you are sure to find these classes on the schedule:

  • Aquasize
  • Water Express
  • Aqua Zumba
  • Water Boot Camp
  • Fitness Swim

Aquasize w/the Residents: This class is taught by Woodloch Springs residents. PARTICIPANTS
MUST SIGN A LIABILITY FORM BEFORE TAKING THE CLASS.  THE INSTRUCTORS TEACHING THIS CLASS ARE NOT CERTIFIED GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS.

Water Aerobics: This is a low-impact cardio workout that combines a series of aerobic moves like jumping jacks, running, jogging, ham curls, etc. in both the shallow and deep ends of the pool. All moves can be modified for beginner or advanced fitness levels.

Aqua Zumba®: Dance your way to fitness in the pool, and don’t worry no one can see how bad you dance under the water.
