The WSSC is a complete recreation facility that includes a fitness center, wave-less indoor pool, and a variety of programs and services that meets everyone’s fitness and aquatic needs.
The SSC membership includes the area’s best aquatic center, featuring a state of the art indoor pool. The wave-less year round pool is used for lap swimming, water aerobics classes and our swim school. The pool dimensions are 60 feet x 32 feet. 44 laps = a mile. The deepest end of the pool is 6 ½ feet, while the shallow end is 3 feet. The pool temperature is kept roughly around 83 degrees. In addition, we have a large, co-ed adult Jacuzzi on the deck and kiddie pool.
The SSC state of the art fitness center is stacked with some of the finest fitness equipment. We offer a huge variety of cardiovascular, strength training, and rehabilitation equipment that overlooks Woodloch’s amazing golf course.
Cardiovascular Equipment:
4 Ellipticals, 7 treadmills, 4 upright bikes, 2 recumbent bikes, Nustep. On a majority of the cardiovascular equipment there are broadcast vision receptors that can be tuned into one of the 5 flat screen televisions.
Strength Training Equipment
Paramount: Leg press, chest press (incline chest press, and shoulder press), lat pulldown & seated row, bicep curls & tricep extensions.
